Meet Lala

The final chapter?

If Milo brought empathy and Owen taught us resilience, Lala embodied strength.

Her story began as an unexpected continuation of Owen’s. When we adopted Owen, we learned that he had once shared a space with a sister, a small detail mentioned almost in passing by those who rescued him from the illegal breeding operation. It sounded far fetched at the time, but something about it stayed with us.

True to her nature, our managing partner, determined, focused, and driven by both logic and compassion, made it her mission to find this lost sister. What followed was months of searching through social media posts and breeder networks, until one day we finally found her, we realized that she was probably not Owen’s lost sister, but she was something even more significant, a reflection of our society and how easily compassion can be overshadowed by convenience. Lala had been kept solely for breeding, with her body pushed beyond its limits. When we found her, she had already endured multiple pregnancies and was in fragile condition. A trusted veterinarian and dear friend confirmed what we feared, another pregnancy could have cost her life. Lala underwent surgery to heal, both physically and emotionally.

Despite all she had endured, her spirit remained unbroken. Lala arrived with a fierce and confident presence; strong, protective, and deeply loyal. She greets everyone who enters our office with joy and warmth, but when it’s time to leave, she’ll personally escort you to the door to make sure you truly say goodbye. She doesn’t believe in half measures; and in that, she mirrors the spirit of ML Law Group perfectly.

Her presence, alongside Milo and Owen, completes what we affectionately call our emotional support team. What began as a lighthearted idea has become something deeper . A daily reminder that compassion, purpose, and even play have a place in professional life.

Our office has grown into a space where empathy and excellence coexist naturally. We may joke that we’re done rescuing dogs, but we’ll never stop supporting causes that protect animal welfare and emotional well-being.

Lala, like Milo and Owen, is a living part of our story, and a symbol of endurance, love, and the kind of quiet strength that defines who we are.
